About Slideparty

Slideparty is a multiplayer PowerPoint party game platform. Create funny slides, present them live with voice chat, and vote for the best one: all from your browser, no install required.
With over 450 players, Slideparty turns any group hangout into an instant presentation showdown. Pick a topic, build slides under time pressure, present them live, and let the crowd decide who wins.
How it works
- Create or join a party with a 6-character code, QR code, or share link
- Everyone gets a topic and a ticking clock to build slides
- Present live with peer-to-peer voice chat and live sync
- Vote on three axes: Original, Well Presented, Hilarious
- Podium reveal and shareable results
The problem it solves
Impromptu presentation games are a staple of parties and team-buildings, but current options are painful: screen-sharing Google Slides is clunky, most PowerPoint Karaoke apps are abandoned side projects with terrible UX, and Jackbox-style games are expensive with no slide creation. There was no modern, browser-based game that let a group create slides, present live with voice, and vote on results from any device with zero setup.
The stack
Built on Next.js with a Convex real-time backend, Clerk authentication, WebRTC peer-to-peer voice chat, Unsplash + Klipy for image/GIF search, and hosted on Vercel.
Who's behind this
William BRISA, product designer and developer. The project started as a way to explore real-time multiplayer architecture and turned into something people actually play at parties. Built and maintained as a solo project under my company Lab 37.
